What an amazing experience.

First, I'd like to say that I have never been to the InterContinental in Montreal. It is a literal PLAYGROUND for photographers... I felt like I had entered into a hidden city, like Diagon Alley in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (yes. I am a pottermore.) Anywhoooo, the scenery in the building was just lovely. Stephanie Valenti and Marc Zenga had their daughter Mila's baptism reception on the rooftop terrace of the hotel with close friends and family. Despite the strange weather we've been experiencing, the day of the baptism had a high chance of rain. Luckily, the sun came out for baby Mila and everyone got to enjoy drinks and oysters on the lovely rooftop in the city.

The baptism ceremony was held at Paroisse St-Léonard, a nice church located on Jarry street. It was very beautiful inside and they took much care to the COVID-19 safety measures... The only thing that breaks my heart is seeing everyone at an event with half of their face covered; the pews lined with masked family members filled me with sadness... However, their eyes all expressed their happiness of being together and witnessing such a special moment in Mila's life. She was a good baby, not a single peep. Actually, she was mostly asleep throughout the entire ceremony.

Everyone had a wonderful time and it truly does show in the images I've captured. It was a beautiful day and an exciting night; overall a wonderful experience I was blessed enough to be a part of.

Some highlights from the rooftop reception.

Due to the rain, the second half of the reception was hosted indoors at the restaurant downstairs. It was such an elegant, lovely atmosphere.
