God, it felt good to be in the studio again!
As most of you know, due to COVID-19, the lockdowns have put a damper on many of the Arts industries as we couldn't come into contact with humans. Still remaining safe, as always, this particular group of humans allowed me to expel some of my creative energy that I felt was withering away as the days went by and my Netflix was being overused - I'm exaggerating of course, I'm so sorry.
Scarlet Wives, a Montreal based Femme Alt Rock band, featuring Alice Slick on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Zenab Jaber on Drums and Mosquito Mike on Bass, came to me one day needing some photographs for their press release. Their new single 'Smoking Pistol' is out on all streaming platforms now!
It was so fun to use my strobes and gels, they wanted to go with blues, purples and pinks and the results are so visually pleasing. They've already booked me for their next single promo and I can't wait!
